Fire Safety

• Smoke detectors are fitted in all bedrooms and communal areas and are tested regularly.
• Fire extinguishers are located on each floor and in communal spaces.
• In the event of a fire alarm, leave the building immediately by the nearest staircase and assemble outside on Hornby Road.
• Fire exit routes are clearly signed throughout the building. Please note the location of your nearest exit on arrival.
• Do not tamper with smoke detectors or fire safety equipment. A charge will be applied for any callout caused by guest negligence.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the premises.

First Aid

A first-aid kit is kept on-site. In the event of a medical emergency, call 999 immediately. Staff can assist with locating the first-aid kit or directing emergency services to your location.

Blackpool Victoria Hospital, the nearest A&E, is located at Whinney Heys Road, Blackpool, FY3 8NR (approximately 2 miles from the Hotel).

Security

• CCTV is in operation in all public and communal areas 24 hours a day.
• Room access is by key fob, one per room. Keep it secure at all times.
• Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to staff immediately.
• Always lock your room when leaving and when sleeping.

Electrical Safety

• All electrical appliances in rooms are PAT-tested and inspected regularly.
• Do not overload sockets or use your own high-wattage appliances (e.g. travel irons, heating devices) in rooms. Irons and ironing boards are provided.
• Report any damaged or faulty sockets, switches, or appliances to staff immediately.

Slips, Trips & Falls

Please take care on stairways, particularly in low-light conditions. Wet floors may occur after cleaning. Signage will be in place. Report any spillage or hazard to staff promptly so it can be addressed.

Allergies

If you have allergies relevant to your stay, tell us when you book or when you arrive. We will help where we can.

Reporting Concerns

If you notice any health or safety concern during your stay, such as a hazard, faulty equipment, or anything that does not seem right, please report it to a member of staff as soon as possible. We take all such reports seriously and act on them promptly.
